Decusoft is a premier developer of configurable, web-based software solutions. We are currently seeking software developers for our COMPOSE by Decusoft division. COMPOSE is a specialized compensation software solution that automates and streamlines complex Merit and Bonus, as well as Short- and Long-term Incentive compensation processes.

Experience in the technologies below would be considered a plus.

Software Development Skills:

  • Microsoft .Net

  • Restful APIs

  • AngularJS or KnockoutJS

  • Node.JS

  • Bootstrap

  • Microsoft SQL Server

Responsibilities include working with development and implementation team(s) to:

  • Assist in the development of new product features, spanning from the UI through the database layer

  • Build new tools and APIs

  • Assist in testing

  • Assist Implementation Specialist in onboarding new customers

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in education and experience required.

  • HCM (Human Capital Management)/HRIS(Human Information Systems) experience a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Extremely detail oriented.

  • Highly motivated self-starter.

Implementation Specialist

Decusoft is a premier developer of configurable, web-based software solutions including COMPOSE, our award-winning compensation automation software. We are seeking a software implementation specialists/project manager that will gather client requirements and coordinate the work of technical personnel to configure, brand, and implement our COMPOSE solutions.


COMPOSE is a specialized compensation software solution that automates and streamlines the administration of complex variable pay programs including Merit, Bonus and Short & Long–term Incentives.

The Software Implementation Specialist will also ensure that clients achieve maximum return on their investment and help reach their strategic goals by promoting compensation best practices. This role will form part of the Professional Services team but will also work closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management and Support departments in different capacities. To be effective and persuasive in this position, a strong technical aptitude is needed, including a general knowledge of standard compensation practices. The ideal candidate must quickly become an expert on our COMPOSE product and services as well as our internal implementation process. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills in addition to solid experience with managing software projects, preferably in the HR/Human Capital Management (HCM) space.


Support Business Development

  • Conduct Level 1 Demos to qualified leads

  • Gain preliminary understanding of a prospects plans and needs to determine if COMPOSE would be a good fit

  • Understand and convey prospect requirements to developers if a configured demo is required

  • Conduct configured Level 2 Demos

  • Contribute to RFPs for questions on implementations, support, system functionality

  • Contribute requirement details for contracts and SOWs

Lead New Implementations

  • Conduct an onsite kick-off to gather requirements, learn client plans and data

  • Document the detailed requirements in a Business Requirements Document and data template, and work with the client to obtain sign-off

  • Assist in testing

  • Assist Implementation Specialist in onboarding new customers

  • Project Management, including project plans, resource planning, time tracking

  • Internal testing of the configurations in a development environment

  • UAT environment setup, including training and documentation

  • Manage the issue logs

  • Production setup and readiness

Support of Existing Clients

  • Relationship Management for assigned clients

  • Conduct regular touchpoints to stay involved in the client’s compensation landscape

  • Support client compensation cycles as a first line of contact and support

  • Where relevant, setup new cycles in COMPOSE (load data, run batch, etc.)

  • Manage bugs and enhancements

  • Understand, document, and work with developers to scope client enhancements

  • Lead enhancement cycles

  • Highly motivated self-starter

  • Document enhancement Change Request Documents, Statements of Work (SOW), Subscription Agreement

Qualifications Required:

  • 3+ years of business to business client service interface or equivalent education and experience and basic project management skills

  • 3 years of application requirements gathering and design, including process mapping and gap analysis

  • 3+ years testing and documenting software

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in education and experience required

  • Experience implementing Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications software/HCM systems

  • General knowledge of standard compensation practices

  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training

  • Passion for customer service
